I bought a brand new fitbit inspire, delivered by Amazon last Friday
It counted 3000 steps while I was sleeping on the couch...
1000 steps while I was having lunch...
1500 steps in 30 mins while I was sitting and working on my desk
Anyone is facing a similar experience ?
Any tip how to recalibrate the accelerator ?
Thank you
Andrea

Hi @AndreaMonta Try restarting the Inspire several times and see if that settles it down. The other thing you can do to reduce its sensitivity is to record wearing on your dominant hand in the app, but actually wear it on your non dominant.

I tried several times
I restarted the new Inspire... it is still counting steps while I'm sitting
Using the Inspire in my no dominant arm... just did 2500 steps while I'm sitting and working at my desk
very frustrating, do I have to return it ???

Did you ever get a real solution that solved the problem? My Inspire was fine until a few days ago. Now, I'm doing marathon naps on my couch.
Did you wind up returning yours?
(I wear the thing on my non dominant hand and my stride length is correct.)

Wife and I both had one with same issue. Just went back to Amazon today (after 3 days of testing).

Yes, I did return it
With a new one, all perfect
