Web says no devices paired

Recently I had to uninstall the Fitbit app from my phone then today reinstalled it.  It connected with my Fitbit Inspire HR just fine.  But when I logged onto the website it says no devices paired.  I'm sure it's something I haven't done right, but just not sure what!

It sounds like you may have two Fitbit accounts. Your app is logged into one account then on the web, and the comunity you are logged into a second account.

You mention that the app connected to your Inspire HR with no problem.

Did you have to add the Inspire HR to the Fitbit account after te-installing? You should not have had to.

Let's open the Fitbit app and tap on the top left corner.

On the next page your Fitbit name is at the top with the date you joined.

What is this date?

The web says Donna S joined Jan of 2020

Hi @deejsal, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some steps before posting over here. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? Is this the first time you experience this situation? It seems that the Inspire HR was unpaired from your account when you uninstalled the app from your phone, therefore, I recommend you to follow the setup instructions again and let me know if the issue persists.

Looking forward to your reply.

I'm confused.  It seems to be connected and is tracking it on my phone just fine.  I've done the set-up twice on the phone, and it continues to do just fine with all the history there except for the 2 days I wasn't wearing it.  However, when I log in on the computer (because typing food entries, etc., is easier on the computer than on the phone for my older hands), it says no paired devices.

Does the Inspire show as being connected to your Fitbit account. If the setup process hasn't finished, it is implying that the process has started and the Inspire is connected to the Fitbit account and shows up in the firbit app.

If the Inspire is not showing in the app, the inspire still needs to be setup or we are logged into the wrong account.
