Weird film on inspire hr screen

wondering if anyone has experienced this and may have any tips . My inspire has always had a screen protector on it since the day I bought it and I noticed a weird smudgey film on the screen it self recently but it wont come off . I have used water and a water vinegar mix with a microfiber cloth but nothing works it just sucks cuzz I just bought it in july and now it looks like crap when I was trying my hardest to protect it with a screen protector ( the kind that goes completely over the device). Has anyone else experienced this or has any tips to help get it looking good again?

I'm not clear on this.  Did you put a screen protector over a film that came with it new?

Or are you trying to take off that film so you can put on a screen protector?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

No it's not a protective film but an actual grim or dirt film that I am talking about
