I took a walk and selected run because there is no walking selection on the tracker.  i walked .89 miles in 26:09 minutes.  but i don't understand the measurement for pace.

29  '     15   " pace      what does this mean in mph or steps or something i can put in my fitness pal

@cindyp2   Pace is minutes per mile (or minutes per km for metric users).  If you had finished your whole mile, you would have finished in 29 minutes and 15 seconds.  Runners tend to use pace, not speed.

If Walk isn't on your list of Exercise Shortcuts for your Inspire HR, then I will show you how to make it first on your list.  That way it will be the first option when you tap on your Exercise App.

  • Tap on your profile picture on your Today screen
  • Tap on your Inspire HR
  • Scroll down to Exercise Shortcuts and tap on it.
  • If Walk is on the list but not first, tap on Edit -- then your can drag it to the top spot by pressing and holding there three lines and dragging it to the top
  • If Walk is not on the list, you need to tap on + Exercise Shortcut (it should blue)  -- then add it, then drag it to the top
  • If the + Exercise Shortcut is gray, your shortcut list is full.  You will need to remove an exercise that you don't need.  Then you can add Walk and drag it to the top.
  • Tap on Done and sync your Inspire HR

This YouTube video show someone arranging Exercise Shortcuts.  It doesn't matter that the video is for a Versa 2.  These changes are made on the app, so the steps are the same, even for an Inspire HR.

You will get pace data if you use GPS to track a walk.
