I have an inspire hr, and almost every morning when I tell it I'm awake and go to look at the data it tells me there was a problem logging it to the server and most of the nights data is gone, it only shows a couple hours.
I'm also not sure why we have to tell it when we're going to sleep and when we're awake..... It should be able to detect that....

Hi @Dave.S nice to see you around. Sorry for the delay. Thanks for sharing the steps that you have to follow everyday to track your sleep.
Fitbit Inspire HR tracks automatically your sleep when your body is completely at rest and unmoving. You'll see a record of the sleep stages you cycle through at night after syncing your Fitbit Inspire HR every morning. For more information, see What should I know about sleep stages?
I don't have any information about issues with the Fitbit server but I will be checking with our team to confirm this information. In the mean time, please take a look of the information about sleep tracking on this article: how do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
Let me know if you have questions about this.
