Where do women wear their Fitbit devices?

I just got a fit bit from my daughter.  I really like it, but I like wearing my regular watch.  I also like wearing bracelets. Where is another place to put this fitbit?  Upper arm??? ankle????

If you can exchange it for the Inspire (non HR), then you can purchase this cute clip and wear it at your waist. The HR version will not fit. I would not recommend placing your device at the upper arm. It’s not intended to be worn there.

Thinking outside the box, you can find clips for the HR version on Amazon. You can also find ankle bands. But please keep in mind that any heart rate reports will not be accurate since the Inspire HR is meant to capture the heart rate at your wrist.

Really thinking outside the box ... why not just purchase a new band for your device? There are a lot of very pretty bands available from Fitbit and from Amazon. You may decide to make the Inspire your regular watch. Personally, I have several bands for my Inspire. They are relatively inexpensive and I like to match them to my outfits.

It depends on how important the HR bit is to you... I wear my Inspire (NOT the HR version) on my ankle 'cos I want it to count my steps rather than my arm movements but I bought a Charge 3 last night that I'm intending to wear on my wrist because the HR was one of the big reasons I bought it.

Could you maybe put your Inspire HR on your other wrist (assuming you can get a pulse on that wrist?  If not, just swap sides on your watch and Inspire HR) so that you can wear your watch and Inspire HR at the same time?  😉

Thanks. I have a habit of my watch on my left wrist and glancing at it every now and then. After 40 years of doing this I just cannot switch I did switch Fitbit to my left wrist And it seemed to me it over count my steps. (Compared to steps on iPhone) Odd Also I don’t like having to touch it to get the time so it is not good as a watch for me

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I am brand new to Fitbit and I see it will take some experimental work. I wonder which type is most accurate? This hr was a gift and I did not know there were so many types

How about keeping your watch on your left wrist and putting your Inspire HR on your right to see how you get on with that?  You will still be using your watch on your preferred wrist, so just set your Inspire HR to "non-dominant wrist" (assuming you're left-handed) in your account and you'll be good to go - I can take a screenshot of where to go to set it if you want?  😊

I wear it on my wrist or I put it in the clip and wear it on my bra. I need alternate locations because I’m always pushing a stroller so I need it to count my reps during that time.

Thank you; I had not thought of putting it on my bra. That is an idea.

Oh, I did don't know the inspire was calibrated for the different wrists. Maybe that is why I get a different reading on the right wrist versus the left.

I dunno if it's different calibrations for different sides, but maybe it's to do with how much you move each arm?  For example writing and typing and stuff?  That's just a guess though  😉

I wear mine on my ankle to get an accurate step count. I’ve also noticed that it still keeps track of heart monitoring. Hope this helps 😊

When you set up your Fitbit device, you select dominant or non-dominant wrist. The device will adjust sensitivity accordingly.

When I go grocery shopping, or know I'm going to be pushing a cart, I try to remember to take off my FB HR and put it around my ankle and put my sock over it to hold it in place.  In the summer if I don't have on socks I just use a little medical stretch band like they put on you when you donate blood or sometimes get lab work...it "sticks" to itself.

I do this too when I want to walk on my treadmill for an extended time and want to "hold on" with both hands and just "zone out".
