Where do you find the option for clip in Settings?

I have a new Inspire and prefer to use the clip on my bra rather than on my wrist.  In Settings, I only see the options for which wrist you're wearing it on.  How do I set it for use with a clip?

@LittleRocker   The instructions given by @JohnnyRow are incorrect.  To change the On Wrist to On Clip setting, press and hold the button for about 2 seconds.  This takes you to the Quick Settings.  The Quick Settings have your Battery level, Screen Wake, Notifications, and the On Wrist/On Clip setting.  Make the switch and press the button lightly to return to the clock face.

Not totally sure because looking at Inspire HR which does not have that option, but I think it is on the tracker itself, rather in the app options.  From the main clock face, scroll up to Settings.  Tap that, then scroll up or down for clip option.

I see the last update brought this option back.

I'm new to the Inspire (wore the Fitbit One for years) but I just learned that you can only change the setting from the device itself. Press, hold button on the side, swipe up and find "on wrist". Touch the screen to change it to "on clip". I found wearing it in the clip with the setting "on wrist" didn't track all my steps. I'm hoping that it will track my steps more accurately now that I've changed the setting to "on clip". You cannot change the setting to clip from the website: https://www.fitbit.com/settings/device/tracker/

Whenever I do this- there is no option for the clip/wrist.   Only the battery life, screen wake and notifications are there. Help!

@Soph15 do you have an Inspire or an Inspire HR?

I have the HR.

I do here that the Inspire HR should come with a clip setting that turns off the heart monitor and then provide a clip that the Inspire HR would fit in.

However Fitbit has not provided either for the Inspire HR and that is why yours does not have a clip mode. Only the Inspire has this mode.

Not sure this will help, but if you have an Inspire (like mine), you press and hold the side button on the device and scroll up until you see "on wrist". Slide left and you'll see "on clip". Voila - it's set to be used in a clip. Unfortunately mine randomly changes back to "on wrist" so I have to re-do this from time to time. I understand if you have the Inspire HR this is not an option.

@nancmadi. let's look at @LZeeW 's answer above.

That is if you have an Inspire and not the Inspire HR, for heart rate. The inspire HR does not have this option.

Thank you sooo very much... well it appears I didn't know there was a difference.. and yes I have the Inspire HR (heart rate) so that makes sense why I can't find this setting... well that was a waste of money buying the clip and its no use to me... hmmmmm they should offer that option when purchasing your unit if that isn't going to work with it.   Thank you everyone for all your help in the community.  Happy Healthy New Year!

I do not have the Clip option on my Inspire HR. When I hold the button for 2 seconds, the display shows Notifications, Screen Wake, and Battery Level. Nothing above that. Help? Thanks, Laura

@lpsalas   The Inspire HR doesn't have the On Wrist/On Clip setting.  That's on the Inspire model only.
