I have just got the Inspire HR and there is a white line across my screen that stays even when you move to different screens and only goes when the screen is off. I have tried restarting but had no luck at it going has anyone else had any issues like this or any suggestions?

This is happening to me also.  I have it plugged in and press button but won't restart and white line still shows. fitbit inspire hr

I just got an Inspire HR as well (had the white line when first turned on).  Start the process to connect the device to your phone via the app, it will download a firmware update.  It took a little while for my phone to d/l.  The Inspire should be plugged into it's charger and have at least 50% charge before it can start the firmware update (mine didnt start until it was over 50% so it might be worth waiting until ~60%).  Once the app downloads the update it will install the firmware (step 3 of 3).  After that you should be good and have access to the Inspire to make any changes/customizations you want.

Same issue with the new Fitbit Inspire HR: the white line that doesn't go away, the connection to the device cannot be established. I got it as a present for a family member and I'm returning it to the store. Disappointing.

Before returning, if you haven't tried this already, give it a go (from a prior post):  Start the process to connect the device to your phone via the app, it will download a firmware update. It took a little while for my phone to d/l. The Inspire should be plugged into it's charger and have at least 50% charge before it can start the firmware update (mine didnt start until it was over 50% so it might be worth waiting until ~60% or just a full charge). Once the app downloads the update it will install the firmware (step 3 of 3).

This should make the white line go away and the device will function properly

Having the same problem.  The issue is that it won't setup until it's charged past 50% but the white line situation won't let it charge at all? So how do we get it to charge then?

Why isn't this functional out of the box?  It seems insane that there's a firmware update that I have to wait 30 minutes (!!!) for and needs a 50% charge even when plugged in just so it can give me a heartrate while I lift.  If it isn't functional immediately out of the box (pending it has sufficient charge) then why is it being shipped?

0/1 in workouts so far.  Hopefully that picks up soon.

I just bought my fit bit Inspire and trying to set it up.  I charged my fitbit last night and seeing the white line across my screen.  I can't seem to change the clock setting or get the white line to go away.  I could just cry. This is so frustrating and upsetting.
