White line on Inspire HR screen

Hi I just got my Fit Bit Inspire and as I am about to set it up the screen turned into black and the white line appears..I am not sure if it means charging or what? Please help.

Hi @Genelyfe, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

 

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To resolve the display issue you're experiencing with your Inspire HR, I recommend you to follow the next steps to perform a restart process and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds. 
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

I did everything I can but I end up returning the product bec it is not working or charging at all.
