White line on Inspire HR

My boyfriend just purchased the Fitbit inspire HR for Christmas, we have charged and downloaded the app and all I get is a white line on the screen? I cant do anything or see anything. Tried to reset by holding down button still nothing. Can someone help me?

I was wondering the same exact thing after purchasing this for my daughter.  I also tried to update the app/firmware for the watch and it won't allow me saying it is unable to connect with fitbit.com......

I just received mine. It's not HR but with the same problem. Done all the steps, can't see anything but a white line. It's synched to my phone just fine.

I was able to get it working with the help of my spouse. We uninstalled the app and reinstalled and it started to work.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
