Why can I only get Gmail notifications on my Samsung A6

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit app is on my Samsung A6 phone but only has Gmail as an option for email notifications. My Samsung S5 which is an unsupported phone has other email options available. How can I get a non gmail email to send notification to my Inspire HR?

@MrsIL2014 Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for the details mentioned. I'll be happy to clarify your inquiry.

I would like you to confirm you've followed this procedure to set notifications on your Inspire HR. If you're still not seeing any other options for notifications, please attach a screenshot to your next reply.

Keep me posted. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Here are the screen shots from both my phones. 1 is the A6 (which is supported) and the 2nd is my S5 (not supported) A6.jpgS5.png

@MrsIL2014 Thanks for the details mentioned.

It's pretty weird that you're seeing more email options in one phone than other. However, you can easily select the Gmail and Outlook options from the App notifications. I would like you to confirm you've done this procedure to properly set them.

Keep me posted.

Yes, I have the notifications set up correctly. What I did do was install outlook on my phone and now it provides me the option for Outlook or Gmail. Now I get the notifications as the yare designed to do.  Hope that helps someone that is frustrated with this as I was.

@MrsIL2014 Thanks for getting back. I'm glad to hear that after you installed Outlook on your phone it showed as an option on your mail notifications.
