Hi, @Kelcie_2021 , eBay is not an authorised retailer, so if you buy your Fitbit from eBay it will not come directly from Fitbit and you will not have any warranty.  If you bought your Inspire 2 directly from Fitbit then you have the option to return for any reason within a 45 day time period (although unless it is actually defective you will have to pay the postage).  You could then buy one from eBay.  Also, if you don’t buy from an authorised retailer you do risk getting a counterfeit product.

Many people do prefer the peace of mind knowing that their device will be covered by warranty, and are willing to pay a little more to make sure they are covered and also to make sure that they are receiving a genuine Fitbit product.

It is up to you, of course!  Welcome to the forums.

I always buy from the manufacturers if possible. I am very weary of counterfeits, I'm just curious how so many people have access to this product at a lower price. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

I guess they are willing to have no warranty, or to take a chance on getting a fake - or maybe they don’t realise they have no warranty.  Not everyone is as careful as you.  I think you will be glad in future that you bought a genuine product with the protection that the warranty brings.

Is Amazon an authorized retailer?

I bid $20 on approximately 30 used Inspire 2 on ebay over the course of a month....finally one hit, yeah!  It included the Luxe Fitbit stainless steel mesh band too.

After about a month, it all seems to be working okay. I kind of like it.  I wasn't sure if I would like the product, and thought of the $20 as throw away to possibly get an education on the Fitbit ecosystem.  Sometimes you win sometimes you ...
