Why do I keep having to close the app and reopen it to get the exercise minutes updated?

Since I got my Inspire HR in May, the number of active minutes would not update automatically like all the other categories (like steps, miles, calories) - I would need to refresh the screen in order for it to update the number of active minutes.

For the past two days it won't update the active minutes unless I close the app and reopen it.  I think this morning it did update with only having to refresh but that was after it hit 30 active minutes.  I don't care so much if I have to keep refreshing the screen every two minutes or so to update the active minutes but this having to close the app and reopen it is getting annoying.

How can I fix this?

May I ask what phone your app is on?

Have you removed the app, restarted the phone, and did a fresh install of the Fitbit app?

Hi.

My phone is an Iphone 7.

I did not delete the app because a message pops up that I will also be deleting all the data and I don't want to lose that.

As for data, it is either on your tracker or in the cloud on Fitbit. No data is ever stored in your phone.

Bummer - tried deleting the app and rebooting my phone then reloaded the app but it's still not updating the number of active minutes.  I still need to close the app and reopen it for it to update.
