Hi all,
Since upgrading to the Inspire HR, I've notice a disparity in my daily step count for days that I work out. When I work out, I either run, use elliptical, stair master or bike. Other than running, does my Fitbit not recognize my motion in the other exercises as steps? Should I somehow be selecting which workout I'm about to do beforehand? My legs are making the same general motion in all four exercises by my daily totals have a wide disparity with running always being the largest (which makes sense). For what it's worth, I wear my Inspire HR on my non-dominant wrist. Any insights would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

@drewob5 Welcome! It's nice to have you on board!
Let me help you with your steps not being counted on some activities. Your device will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may be still but you could be moving or walking. This may happen when you are pushing a cart or holding bars while walking or doing treadmill. For added sensitivity you can try wearing your device on your dominant hand but select that hand as non dominant on the device’s settings to make it more sensitive to movement. Also make sure your hands are moving so the device can properly track your steps.
Let me know how it goes.
