Hi!
I have upgraded my Flex (after 4.5 yrs) to an Inspire HR yesterday. The upgrade & device registration went great!
Will the computer fob / dongle that connected & synced my Flex be able to perform a sync with The Inspire? I have tried via the Windows 10 App and it always fails with "Device Not Found"

It's nice to see you back @SteveReiss. I'll be glad to assist you with your syncing your Inspire HR with the dongle you used to sync your Fitbit Flex.
Make sure that you have installed the Windows 10 App and not Fitbit Connect on your computer. If you complete the requirements you should be able to sync your Inspire. Please check help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

After a couple of days and a few more tries, the Inspire HR is now syncing on my Win10 machine with the old dongle. I did not do anything different...

I tried it with the FitBit connect and it syncs fine.

I use a dongle for my newer fitbit and was disappointed to find that the fitbit had to be within inches of the dongle for it to work or i would get the same error message. The cable length on the magnetically attached power charger is ridiculously short as well.
