I recently started to get back into my fitness journey and I have an alta HR.
I was wondering if it's worth upgrading to the inspire?
Another question I had was I really like the HR aspect so my calories out can be more accurately calculated
However due to my job I can't wear anything below the elbows so I would love to use a clip. Are you able to use the inspire hr with the clip or is that only the inspire.
Thanks.

Hello @Tasila and welcome to the Help forums. The big difference between the Alta HR and the Inspire HR is the addition of the Exercise app on the Inspire HR. This feature will allow you to track your workouts in more detail and have a record of them in your Fitbit app. This Help article shows the kinds of exercises you can track in detail. You should also check out YouTube for videos and reviews. Only you can decide if this addition to SmartTrack is the nudge you need to stay on your journey. BTW, the Inspire HR has SmartTrack, too.
The Inspire HR is slightly thicker than the Inspire because of the heart rate sensor. The clip in the Fitbit store says it is only for the Inspire. I don't have a clip, so I never tried to force an Inspire HR into Fitbit's clip. There are third party clips on Amazon that say they fit both. Maybe another user will chime in with experience.
A question. Where do you wear your Alta HR at work?
