I use my fitbit as a watch and it's started showing the wrong time randomly. At 1am (I work nights) it was saying it was 6am. I was worried but when I synced it the time reset properly and it seemed to have correctly recorded all my steps and stuff regardless. However I just woke up and went to check the time and it once again said it was 6am, when is actually almost 1pm. Again, syncing put it back to normal, but I'm concerned that it will keep doing this between syncs.

This happened to mine as well!

Another one here. Also, it seems to have given me to many steps.
In the middle on the night the wakeup alarm went off, and didn't at the correct time.

Mine just did this saying it was tomorrow already, and reset my steps to 0 for the day. It also erased all my steps from the app when it synced, but the time fixed.

My time was wonky day before yesterday as well. I am currently in AZ. I didn’t have this issue in Alaska. Where are you?

Add me too. How did you fix it?

I'm in Iowa, but I've not moved anywhere the whole time I've had my fitbit.

It fixed itself when I synced with the app, but it's done this twice in a row and idk when it will do it again so that's why I posted here. I want to know if there's a specific cause and how to prevent it happening again or getting worse. I've barely had this fitbit for 3 months.

Same here, I got mine in December. It seemed to resolve itself randomly but pretty annoying to have all my steps wiped away.

Must not be a location issue.
Mine seems OK now as well

Same for me. Shows the wrong time. I've tried rebooting the device and my phone. Nothing works. Switched Bluetooth on and off. Still wrong time. Will not sync with the app.

Hi everyone.
Welcome to the Community Forums to all new users. Thank you for all steps you've tried to correct the time on your Inspire 2.
Note the time on your Fitbit device may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings. Sync your Fitbit device to see the correct time. For more information, see How do Fitbit devices sync their data?
Make sure the time zone setting is correct:
Hope that helps.
