Zone minutes and heart rate

I got a new inspire in august and I noticed that things changed with the amount of minutes I am in "fat burn". I am pretty active at work and I feel like with my previous inspire I was often in fat burn and now I am often not. I don't think this is a change in my heart rate so I wonder if the zone cut offs changed?

You say you got a new Inspire but are posting in Inspire 2 board, so I am assuming you actually got an Inspire 2.

Going from the Inspire to the Inspire 2 is a big change going from Active Minutes to Zone Minutes, and with that, the way the heart rate zones are calculated.  You can read more about the Zone Minutes here: What are Active Zone Minutes or active minutes on my Fitbit device?

If you click on the Zone Minutes circle on phone app, you can see the new heart rate limits for the zones.  In general they are harder to reach as you discovered, but the default goals have also changed from 30 active minutes per day to 22 Zone Minutes per day (actually (150 per week) to coincide with new guidelines from CDC and I think American Heart Association.

The new heart rate zones now also take into account your resting heart rate.  If you want to get into the details of how they are calculated, look at How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?  and scroll down to "What are heart rate zones?" section.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
