can i SUBTRACT steps? (counted when cycling)

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

today while cycling my fitbit inspire counted about 5,000 extra steps.  I see on other posts that this is an unfortunate issue, but I dont want credit for steps I did not take.  I do wear a smartwatch as well that counted my daily steps without the cycling error.  Is there anyway to change this?

@munoz303 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!

Let me help you removing steps counted while biking. You can negate steps by logging a driving activity and can find instructions on how to do this here.

Let me know how it goes.

I just found out that when I add the activity "DRIVING" from the times that I am riding my bike, the fitbit app the erases my BIKING data.  I then have to go back in and manually enter it.  Any work around this?
