Hi, @dylannoonan15! The calories you are seeing are your basal metabolic rate (BMR) calories. Based on the height, weight, age, and gender you enter into your account, Fitbit calculates the calories you burn during the day just by being alive. It sets this to a constant rate over the day by dividing the total by 15 minutes, the segments you would see if you look at a plot of your calories. Then, over the day, it adds these calories on. When you exercise, Fitbit adds those calories burned to your BMR calories. Based on the data from your first day, Fitbit back populates this BMR for about a year to give you a comparison point.

Those are your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories that you are always burning just by being alive.  They are always credited, even when not wearing the tracker.  Also, they are always back-filled on a new tracker, not sure why, but there's no way to get rid of them - just ignore and look forward.

But now you know 2,319 is what Fitbit is using as your BMR daily calorie burn.

@JohnnyRow thanks for the feed back. I ways also wondering the box the Fitbit came in said charge device for 24 hours. Is that a regular amount of time to charge a Fitbit?

24 hours is not normal.  I would check again exactly what is says on the box.  After initial setup, just charging about 15 minutes a day, say during shower, keeps the battery near steady charge status.  Even if you let it go way down, I wouldn't expect it to take more than a hour to recharge.
