Accepted Solutions
  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Hi @gradycat  that is odd. Try doing a restart of the device a few times and see how it does tonight. Let us know what happens.

You've got me curious @gradycat ! There is a silent alarm feature, which buzzes when it vibrates. There is the celebration when you make your step goal, but only happens once and it wouldn't always happen when you're in bed. Interesting to find out tomorrow!

Good morning Odyssey 13 -

The reset worked. Had a quiet night. I am new at this. Got the Fitbit for a Christmas present and I activated it December  25, 2019 so I've had it less than a month. Generating some interesting data. What I forgot to mention is that when the Fitbit was making the beeping noise in bed it was also vibrating. It seemed to go off about every 30 seconds. Once again, thanks for your help and if it happens again I know what to do.

@gradycat  that almost sounds like a silent alarm, which vibrates. Glad you got it to stop beeping at night. You need a good night's sleep! New to Fitbit, then here is the link to the Inspire HR user manual and related help articles, some with illustrations and/or videos - click to go there.
