fitbit inspire not syncing to app or dashboard

I bought my inspire last Saturday and it synced fine. Today is Friday and it wont sync to app or dashboard. My alta syncs fine. I reset my inspire and tried again. Nothing.

Hi, @SunsetRunner, sync problems are pretty common, usually shortlived, and often spontaneously fix themselves.  You won't lose any data even if your Inspire HR doesn't sync for several days.

 

Sometimes a restart will do the trick, but as this did not help in your case, you could try a few more restarts (a single restart does not always work) or you could try turning Bluetooth off on your phone, waiting a moment, and then turning it back on again.

 

Logging out of your app and then logging back in again should also initiate a sync.

Same sort of problems.  Fitbit has replaced my Inspire twice and within a week they both had the same problem.. It takes a full factory reset to get it to work and sometimes this must be done 3 times before synching works.  I can not spend an hour a day trying to reconfigure my watch to sink every day.  Surely Fitbit must have a fix for this problem or they would no longer be in business.

 

My Charge HR works fine although at less than 2 years old it is falling apart and I had to glue it back together.  It seems to be shoddily made.  Made in China tells the story.
