Hello @bg58 and a warm welcome. Please go to page 13 of the Inspire HR Manual. The pin is spring loaded, so you need to press down on the "ball " of the pin to pop the band out. I don't like the re-attaching diagram. It shows the pin at a very sharp angle. That angle is too sharp -- You risk bending and breaking the pin. I broke a Versa pin by putting it in at the wrong angle.

Pressing the pin did not release the wristband. I tried pressing it "in," which would be toward the Fitbit, and when that didn't work, I pressed "down" (toward bottom of band), then "up," and nothing worked.

slide your tiny balls to the center, then pop out the side where the balls came from.
