Hello! I just got an Inspire 2 -- and one reason I purchased it is I believed it was possible to turn the heart rate monitor off. But I can't figure out how to do this in settings... any advice would be welcome. Thank you!!

According to the manual (see pages 20 - 21) you can turn off the heart rate tracking in the settings app on the fitbit but this setting will only be available when it's in "on wrist" mode.

Note also that if you turn heart rate tracking off the lights on the back will continue to flash.

Hi Steve! and thanks so much for your response. I appreciate it. When I go under the settings app it doesn't give me the option to turn it off... and I assume that that's because I don't have the Inspire 2 on "on wrist" mode. But I can't find instructions on how to *get* it on on wrist mode. All I see in the manual is "When Inspire 2 is on your wrist, make sure your tracker is set On Wrist. [icon]  When Inspire 2 is in the accessory clip, make sure it's set On Clip."

I assume it's something obvious ... but after lots of scrolling and googling I can't figure out what it is. Any advice? Thank you.

It seems to be in the Quick Settings. Have a look at pages 18 and 19 of the manual.

"Press and hold the buttons on Inspire 2 for a faster way to access certain settings.
Tap a setting to turn it on or off. When you turn off the setting, the icon appears dim
with a line through it."
