how to make 'swim' an option on Inspire 2?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The manual says 20 activities are available.  On the device if i push or swipe the exercise area, nothing happens.  On the app, the only activities available are walk, run, or hike.  How can I make 'swim' an option on either the app or the device. ?

Hi, @Cindy8625 , you need to do this in your app.  Open your app, tap on the account screen (that’s the little photo/ person icon top left), then tap on your device.  On the next screen find “exercise shortcuts” and then the + to add a shortcut (if it is full, you will have to delete a shortcut you don’t use first).  Choose “swim” and add it to your list.  Make sure you sync your Fitbit so the change is reflected there.  “Swim” should then be available to you on your device, and you can start and stop that activity from your wrist

Your Inspire/Inspire 2 should also be able to track swim automatically.  You can make sure automatic swim tracking is turned on in your app by going to your app and from the account page scrolling down to “activity and wellness” and then “exercise”.  There you will see all auto recognised exercises.  You can also change how long you need to be doing each exercise before the tracking kicks in (note, once the minimum time is reached it will auto count from when it first detected that exercise - so you shouldn’t lose the first 10 - for example - minutes of your activity.  I hope that makes sense.

If you need more help with this, please post again.
