i went through the manual and a few reviews, but i can't find what exercises you can track with the inpsire 2.  does it track aerobics or step aerobics?  exercise biking that isn't a spinning bike?  walking rapidly around the house for an hour?

thanks in advance!

@pcake   Your Inspire 2 can track exercises two ways, automatically or by using the Exercise app on the Inspire 2 itself.

  • SmartTrack is the feature that tracks more intense workouts automatically.  It can recognize: walk, run, outdoor bike, elliptical, sports, aerobic workout, and swimming.
  • The Exercise app can track up to 20 different exercises.  See this Help article:How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?  This help article also has instructions on how to customize your exercise shortcut list.

Your aerobics and step aerobics are active enough to be tracked using SmartTrack.  If you want to make sure you have an accurate start and stop time, use the "Workout" exercise shortcut in the Exercise app.  Spinning is the correct exercise shortcut for any indoor bike.  If you walk rapidly around your house for an hour, it should get tracked automatically by SmartTrack.

I hope this helps.
