My wife is left handed. I blew $150 on a new inspire hr only to find out the face is ONLY for right handed users. Seems like a simple enough computer fix, but for now she can't read it. Also, the micro font of steps is a poor design on a new and improved device.

I’m left handed, never had an issue with my Inspire because of being left handed. The extremely tiny font size is horrible though.
Edited to add: I normally wear my Inspire on my right wrist, the odd time on my left.

I too am left-handed, and would also like to wear my device on my right wrist. But when I do, I can't operate the side-button with my thumb. If you added a setting to rotate the display 180 degrees, the problem would be fixed.

My wife is left handed and wear's her HR on her right wrist. The face is the way it should be, so maybe you have not got it configured correctly.

I wasn't talking about the face. I was talking about the side button.
With the device on my left wrist, I can easily operate the side button with my right thumb.
But when I wear the device on my right wrist, I can't easily operate the side button with my left thumb. (In that position, the side button is closer to my index finger.)
I'd like to be able to wear the watch on my right wrist and operate the side button with my left thumb.

I am left handed and I agree this watch is terrible for southpaws. I cannot wear it on my right hand without accidentally turning on a work out every time I am working at my computer or whenever I bend my wrist back. Every time I look down @ the time instead I see a timer telling me how long I have been typing @ my computer. super aggravating!!! then a ridiculous work out shows up in my exercise cue on top of that. I think it was very short sighted to think that in order to conform to your watch that all left handed people would just have to suck it up and wear their tracker on their no preferred hand.

I don't understand why this is marked resolved, nothing here is resolved. And I'm quite pissed I just dropped 140 on this new Fitbit and accessories for a Fitbit that isnt designed to adapt!!

resolved?!? not at all. i am getting really good at turning off the unintended workout and timer that is 80 percent more likely to be going when i need the time, probably thats why my battery life is so terrible too

Wendy,
Is there a handedness setting for the Inspire? I only see A wrist placement setting, but no handedness setting.

Wearing your watch on the same hand that you use to write is not comfortable and not a feasible solution. Lefties already have enough struggles with writing, smudging, slanting, etc.
