linking an inspire to a childs account

Hi all.

I have set up an account for y 12 year old but it is only allowing me to link her account to an Ace or ace 2 when she has an inspire.

Her inspire is set up and linked to my iPhone app.  However, this means that her inspire is just showing the steps, sleep etc from my own charge HR.

Does anyone have any idea how to link the new inspire to the new kids account or how to separate it from my account so she can get her own?

Thanks - Birthday present so want to get sorted quickly so she can enjoy.

Children under age 13 cannot have their own fitbit accounts.  The only way for someone under 13 is to be a child in a family account, and that allows only Ace or Ace 2.

See How do I manage my Fitbit family account?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
