my Inspire HR has completely died

Yesterday I went for a hike followed by a swim in the lake. This device is supposed to be waterproof up to like 50ft right? I don't swim often and I certainly didn't go deep, and while I was in the water I was still able to check the time. On the way back from the hike I noticed my fitbit had died. I was surprised because usually it would vibrate to let me know the battery was running low. When I got home I put the watch on the charger. It vibrated when the magnets clicked, and lit up for a moment and I saw the happy face 🙂 but then it went dark again! I tried holding down the button for 5 seconds to reset it, but nothing happened. At this point I was starting to worry. I removed the charger from the wall outlet and plugged it into my desktop instead. Now it doesn't even buzz when the magnets meet. The green LEDs aren't lighting up, and the device won't reset either. I don't know what else to do?
