pace: minutes/mile vs mph

Just got an Inspire HR, mainly to use to track daily walking. It seems to only display "pace", which seems to be minutes/mile, but I don't find that to be a very meaningful way of expressing how fast I'm walking. I'd really like it to display miles/hour, but I can't find any setting for that in the app.

Is it possible to configure the Inspire to display miles per hour?

Hello @RobertSS and a warm welcome.  Sorry, but the tracker can't be configured for speed, only pace.  Fitbit has no plans to track by speed, as noted in this Feature Suggestion.  You can still vote for it, but you can't leave a comment.

"Fitbit has no plans to track by speed"...Seriously? Hundreds of people begging for it since 2015, and you simply refuse?

I understand that in the narrow world of competitive running, athletes compete based on time on a fixed course. But the great mass of humanity thinks in terms of speed. When judging cars, planes, trains, ships, and rockets, we think in terms of miles or kilometers per hour. Has there ever been an automobile with a minutes-per-mile gauge on the dashboard?

I'm a new customer, and I'm starting to wonder about the company I'm now keeping.
