When I look at my device in the morning, it says my heart rate is between 54 and 58. When I look at the "resting heart rate" after I got up, it says 60 or higher. How come?

Hi @xtien Resting Heart Rate is not the lowest your heart gets to. Have a look at this information on RHR and how it is measured

the information in the link does not define RHR. It doesn't explain how I can have a heart rate of 56 for a longer period of time and still have a RHR of 60. How does Fitbit calculate the RHR from the graph of my heart rate during the night?

I dont know. As far as I am aware that is all in information on RHR that Fitvit puts out.
