I wear an Inspire HR. 2nd Fitbit - The first one was the Alta HR...
I use an Android phone that is supported - the Motto 4x. All was well until I depleted the battery on the fitbit. Now it wont change the time to the correct time. The app no longer recognizes and, you won't be shocked to hear, it will not sync with the app.
I've just spent an hour scrolling through threads here to no avail. I've tried all the methods that I have encountered here and also on the Google machine 🙂
Can't sync, can't set the right time, the app can't see the device.
These three items that I am having issues with seem to be the most. basic. functions. which, in my mind, should be easily, brainlessly accomplished.
And yet -
you cant set the time on the device. Annoying but ok - I go to the app. The app says, 'can't find device'. Both phone and Fitbit are fully charged. Worked fine until I depleted the battery. Bluetooth is on. Bluetooth syncs with other things like a speaker. Fitbit is one inch from the phone.
I re-started the phone. Still nothing.
I thought I would try restarting the Fitbit. It should be simple.
And yet -
It's not simple. The Fitbit has to be attached to the charger. OKAAAY... I attach the charger, follow the instructions (hold down the button until it restarts) and yet - it will not restart. After holding down the button for a long time, it just shows the 100% battery icon.
So I try to sync with the app. Obviously, since the App can't see the device, it won't sync.
The most important problem that I would like to solve is to: set the time.
Any help, guidance and/or commiseration would be appreciated.
