So have been noticing my Versa Special Edition battery has a 1 day life and this just started about a week ago. I bought my watch at Best Buy on November 2019 and it use to last 4 to 5 days without charging. I followed directions to always charge it for 2 hours. I did a hard reset and right now I just did the new update. I’m not as active as I once was since the beginning of the year because of being in quarantine so I don’t understand how the battery is draining so fast. Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue? Like changing the battery?

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

So I cleaned contacts, restarted and give it a couple of days and the watch still only last for a day. I clean contacts every time I put it to charge and still. This morning at 1am I took it off charger before I went to sleep. Right now at 10:42am the battery percentage is at 77%

So back on August 22nd I had complained that my watch was not keeping charge and would drain in a day also heart monitor was Not working. Wendy told me to clean the contacts and restart it and I did a reset and now the watch can not connect to my phone. It can’t find Bluetooth. I deleted the app And reinstalled, the app says it’s searching for device but my phone says it’s Bluetooth connected. I even turned off my Bluetooth and deleted the app and tried everything all over again. I’m frustrated because this is my second Fitbit I had to purchase again because the first one burnt out after having the first one for 2 years and this Fitbit I just bought in November it’s just 9 months old and already having problems. Hopefully I can get this issue resolved.

The same thing has happened to my Versa 1. As soon as I updated to 71.6.19 it only lasts a day and runs out over night which is useless for sleep tracking!
It also keeps saying there is an update available on the app even after I keep installing it....driving me mad!!
