A few days ago I "upgraded" from my Charge 2 to the new Versa [Special Edition]... My Charge 2 would last at least 3 days with ALL settings and features enabled including always syncing, quick look, heart rate, etc...
HOWEVER, I can barely get my Versa to last 12 hours. After looking at forums, it seems like the Versa battery is a common conundrum, yet everyone else seems to be able to at least get a day or two out of it [around 30 hours]. I am yet to see someone else that has as severe of a problem as myself.
At first, I thought it was because I had all the features enabled - as FitBit mentions, the 4-day battery life can be expected to reduce depending on use.
I don't get notifications to my Versa often [maybe 8 in a day], and they are limited to direct messages, calls, and work emails [which are very rare]. The reason I need my phone to be constantly connected is because I can't look at my mobile during meetings or classes, so I need to be able to just check if the messages or calls are urgent, and send quick replies to say I'll respond when I'm free if they aren't. The only non-required/uninstallable apps installed were ones I use at least once or twice a week if not more (and for convenience since the Versa is SUPPOSED to work similar to a smartwatch) including Travel times, Barcodes, Wallet, Timer and Relax - all of which is only supposedly meant to use battery when I open the app. At first, I had more apps installed, Heart rate on, and quick-look on. My FitBit didn't even reach 8 hours...
After reading up on ways to save battery power, I disabled heart rate [since it isn't a daily necessity for me at the moment - yet I will need to enable this when I begin training again], I turned off Quick-look [inconvenient but I can deal with it] and I uninstalled apps that I didn't need every day and limited to the ones I listed above [unfortunately this included removing my Medical ID]... I charged my Versa to 100% at 9:00PM, and after only 4 alarms, no notifications, and not using the device at all - not even to check the time, the battery was already back at 15% by 8:00AM!
I've noticed a few people believed they had purchased faulty Fitbits and found a noticeable difference after exchanging for another Versa, so I will definitely be returning mine today to make sure mine isn't just a dud too.
On a side note, when I get home and re-charge my Versa, I may disable all-day sync but I don't want to compromise my ability to receive notifications.

Hello @Isone
I have auto sync off and I still receive texts, emails, app notifications and calendar events.
With it off, I use 15% of battery power in a 24 hour period. So I get 5-6 days of battery power.
I also use all 8 alarms, at least 4-5 of them daily.
I also have quick view on.
I also have heart rate on.
Hope this helps you.
