13 year old set up - requesting parent permission

Hi there, In the process of setting up my 13 year olds fitbit versa. She put in the wrong birthday in error in the beginning, so the parent permission screen came up. We started again and made sure she entered her correct birthday - parent permission screen came up again! Have tried again by re-installing fitbit app but same problem? Solution anyone? Many thanks!

Hi, since you're only at the beginning of this process of setting up the Versa, I would advice to perform a Factory Reset, so you can start from scratch again. After clicking the link, you'll find how to perform a FR and how to setup your Versa again.

With your 13 year old, has an email addresses been associated with the account?

Your asking about creating an account, not attaching tracker yet.

One thing you could try is to clear the Fitbit's data, this way it has no record of what was previously tried.
