250 steps per hour showing on my Versa Lite but not on the app

.when I sinc my Versa lite the 259 steps o

In the hour that I have done do not all register on the app even though they show on my Versa...I have tried restarting and updating but for the last 2 days only some og the steps are showing on the app.

Hi @Rellemay, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the missing steps issue that your Versa Lite has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, set up your watch from scratch. Finally, monitor your watch during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

The app recorded my 250 steps per hour ok yesterday.....but I will give it
a reset anyway...
