I was so excited to get my new VERSA! I'm over it now.
My Note 8 is on the 'approved' list of devices - the OS and Android versions are all up to date.
I'm frustrated that it won't stay connected to the phone - then when I get it to connect to the phone, it takes another 30 minutes to connect to the Wi-fi.
I have removed the app, reloaded the app, I have removed all my other devices from the bluetooth info, I have removed and added WiFi info, I have restarted my Versa several times - It just doesn't stay connected. I'm sad because I am now reading on the community pages and wondering if I shouldn't return it right away??

@MarieJMart Welcome to the forum. Are you experiencing any issues with sync and notifications? If not, then all is well. In the fitbit app, Versa never shows connected all the time. It doesn't mean it won't sync or send notifications. Please make sure that you have enabled All-Day Sync and Always Connected in your Fitbit mobile app.

Can you be more precise on "won't stay connected to the phone"?
What exactly are the symptoms you are seeing?
Oops - never mind. I see @Marrrmaduke already has you covered.

@JohnnyRow The more the merrier. 🙂 I think @MarieJMart meant that when she opens the app, there's no green connected dot near Versa all the time. 🙂 Just guessing.

Thanks for replying...
I mean it's having "sync errors"
1- staying connected to the Bluetooth - "Bluetooth Issues" if you see this message for the first time, etc..... it will not stay connected with my phone, therefore it won't sync. I'm having to remove it from the Bluetooth device list on my phone and re-scan then reattach it. I didn't have to do this with my smaller fitbit...I certainly shouldn't have to disconnect and reconnect it everyday.
2- it will not stay connected to my wi-fi. I'm finding I have to reconnect to my Wi-fi every day as well...

Hi, the message BT issues, I have them also but ignore them cause I was out of BT range. Coming back within BT range mostly solves the problem, but sometimes I have to sync it manually and is always working. Regarding the WiFi issue, in principle your Versa only connect to WiFi when it's in the charger and connected to your PC (that is when you want your Versa to connect to WiFi for more than just a few minutes). Recommended is also to connect your phone to your PC. Within the Fitbit app, go to WiFi settings, press it and right next to your home's network you will see the WiFi icin. which is white. Press the icon and Fitbit is starting to connect to your network. Once that's done, the icon turns to blue and says connected. Now your Versa is also connected to it as long as it stays in the charger.

@MarieJMart Versa by default does not stay connected to WiFI as there is no need for that. All the sync and notifications go via bluetooth. You need wifi only to speed up download of Versa firmware, music and large apps (currently only Fitbit Coach) and large clockfaces (currently only Fitbit Labs clockfaces). Actually, I tend to remove WIFI network from the Fitbit mobile app (and sync several times afterwards) as I found out it actually makes my Bluetooth connectivity worse and thus sync and notifications. One more comment, removing Versa from paired devices list is a way to go, but you shouldn't connect it again from within phone's bluetooth settings. Instead let fitbit mobile app do that - that's the trick. So, please:
