There are times that I plug in my phone to charge, and I'm in other rooms. So I don't have to keep checking my phone, I would absolutely love to see a way to see my phone's battery\charging status on my Versa 2. I've tried downloading apps that notifies my phone when I've reached certain percentages, and then tried linking those apps via the notifications for Fitbit, but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

This clock should meet your needs
In the phone Fitbit App Click on profile photo [top left] Device photo [middle left] Clocks Tile All clocks And search for "MMXX" Select the Duo version It tells you when it will be charged by |

That would work, except it's shows the battery info for the watch, not my phone.

Yes, but as you know when it will be complete you no longer need it on the phone.
Or set an Alarm on the phone for the time the watch gives you,
Or if you like checking and are not too far away, go into the Fitbit App and pull down to refresh and it shows the percentage battery level in the status bar [on the right], but it means constantly checking.

I want my phone's battery and charging status, not my watch's. I want to know from my watch that my phone is finished charging.

Sorry, in that case doesn't your phone give the expected charge time. You can set a timer on the watch for that time perhaps.

As you may know, at this time there's no way to check your phone's battery status on your watch.

There is another solution.
You can install Macrodroid App on an Android phone and get it to check the battery level and raise a popup message every 5% change.
That way you will receive a notification on your watch each time it increases by 5%, or simply when it reaches a specified level.
Incidentally 100% may not be the best level for the phone battery's long life and this would allow you to stop it before it got to that level.
