Accidently deleted my Versa 2 in my app

Hi,

I accidently deleted my versa 2 on the app instead of my blaze I know longer have. It is now not allowing me to reconnect. It is asking for the code on my device but it is asking to unlock with phone 😫 I've not long had it and I don't know what else to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Hello @Charlene1404

Unfortunately because you removed the Versa 2 first before unlocking it from your phone you will have to perform a factory reset on your Versa 2. First have you now successfully removed your old Blaze from the Fitbit App? I would remove that first. Here is how you do a factory reset on a Versa 2 :

Read it very carefully before you start…..when you perform a factory reset you’ll need to reinstall any apps and music on your device after the reset. A factory reset will only clear data from the tracker. It does not affect any of your data on the Fitbit servers. So you will see everything from the final sync you did just before your accidentally removed it.

Hold the button on the Versa 2 for about 8 seconds.

When the Fitbit logo disappears:

Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).

Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates the factory reset. Release the button.

Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup

Once the Fitbit.com/setup screen appears, open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and unpair the watch from list.

Log out of the Fitbit App, restart your phone then log back into the Fitbit App as you normally would, tap your profile picture, scroll down and tap Set Up A Device…pick Versa 2 from the list and follow the onscreen instructions.

I hope this goes well and your pack up and running soon. Please let me know

Hi @Charlene1404  - possibly you may be able to avoid the factory reset.

I would try removing the watch Bluetooth entries and restart both Versa 2 and phone, then in the Fitbit app jump to " + Set up a Device", on the off chance it will work. It should setup a new Bluetooth entry.

Depending on how it goes you may lose your clock faces and they will have to be installed again.
