I received a email saying the email address on my account has been changed. I contacted Fitbit support (02/04/2019) and told them about the situation right away. They told me there was nothing they could do and were putting it to their security team.

 

I am unable to log in to my account and they told me to not log out of my Fitbit app as the security team will need info. Now since there is personal information on Fitbit about me I am extremely concerned about being hacked.

 

I contacted Fitbit again today(02/05/2019) and they told me it could take 24 to 48 hours from a person from the security team to reach out to me. I feel like this is very unacceptable as my information has been breached and someone else has a hold of my account and to top it off i now have a $200 watch that is useless to me.  Any help would be appreciated as it seems the fit bit support is lacking.

I am sorry to hear that your Fitbit email address was changed, since you have already contacted our support team, I recommend keeping in touch with them, I know that the waiting can be frustrating but I know they will be glad to help you out and provide you a solution.

I cant even keep in touch with the support team cause all i get as an excuse is the security team will respond to you when they have time. i feel fit bit doesn't take the fact an account got hacked seriously enough and the fact i am now on day 3 and freaking out cause someone has access to my information is not only frustrating but also very infuriating and violating. I had even sent an email back to the support team asking for a time line and they didnt respond it took me calling fit bit yesterday to get a response of 24 - 48 hours well that has passed now, and im starting to get really upset that fit bit is not helping!!!!!
