My husband and I have both just bought a Versa. We go out for a walk together and start the walk/ exercise mode. At the end of our walk the distance walked is always different on both watches. My Versa always shows less distance by at least 10/20%. Is there anything we can do to improve accuracy?

Hi, AFAIK you do not need to start walk/exercise mode seperately when you start it. Just press the Account Icon on top of the dashboard within your Fitbit app and go to "Goals". Choose Exercise and you can set different kind of activities to be automatically recognized by the Versa, like walking. Press walking and set the amount of minutes the Versa should automatically recognize this activity. The minimum time is 10 minutes. Maybe this solves your problem. You also can choose f.i. Run, Mounainbike, Crosstrainer, etc.

Hi
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately that doesn't solve the problem that
our watches are logging different distances for the same walk that we take
together.
We have the walk in goals already set up as you suggested.

Hi, try this: again in the Dashboard of your Fitbit app, press the Account icon, scroll down to "Settings" and go to "Advanced Settings" and press it. Look for "lenght of steps" and adjust that for your both. Lenght of steps from a man are usually greater than those of women and adjusting this should eliminate your differences.
