Active Minutes: Here One Moment, Gone the Next!

Hiya Fitbit fam!

I've noticed other folks posting about this but haven't found a solution yet, so I thought I'd put in my two cents:

I went on a 40+ minute walk today and yesterday. While on the walks, my Versa logs the activity and the minutes perfectly. When i get back to the land of WiFi (aka my office) I look in the app so I can get an accurate count for my 24Go app. But as soon as I log the activity in 24Go, my active Versa minutes disappear from both the app and my watch! I noticed they disappeared from my watch face on Sunday after my run, but this is a first for the app. On Sunday they came back after 5-10min, and i was actively restarting my watch.

I have since unsynced my 24Go app from Fitbit, thinking this might solve the issue.

Any advice?

@respowell, welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your active minutes disappearing. Are you manually logging any activities on your account? Do you have any third party apps that sync activities on your account (you mentioned 24Go)? If this is the case then the logged activities may overwrite the data your Versa recorded and could explain the disappearing minutes. Has this happened after you removed the link with the app? You can read more about manually logged activities here.

Let me know how it goes.

Hiya! Thanks for the reply! I disconnected the 24Go app from Fitbit and
things seem to be better. I usually don't manually enter my activity, and
instead use the tracker menus (start and stop) on the watch itself. Could
my watch battery life also be a factor?

Thanks!
