I am a retiree and fairly active but active minutes yesterday crash high 891, weekly >1500.
stairs yesterday a188 floors but best 5 to 10 if that. Basic yard work only. 16000 steps would seem about right.
lost any relevance.

Hi @Rodney_Allan - try Shutdown from the watch Settings menu.
Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart and charge it.

Both problems seem connectes to the 2 major issues that Sensa 3 (and its twin Sense) have:
- unreliable HR sensor. Very likely your watch is measuring a wrong high HR when doing nothing (for example my wife's Sense shows HR above 140 when washing dishes or even watching TV when instead the HR is well below 100) hence accruing AZM improperly
- an unreliable atmospheric pressurer sensure that gives stairs when do not exist. In this case the bug has been introduced by a firmware update more than one year ago and Fitbit seems not interested to solve it (I actually hope that Fitbit developers use some version control system such as GIT or CVS hence it shouldn't be difficult to find the regression)

@Rodney_Allan - what @SunsetRunner says about floors and heart rate.
Because of high heart rate shown by the watch during activity your Active Zone Minutes will be counting double most of the time your are active.
You can verify, but not fix these observations:
If you are interested in how your watch pressure sensor is behaving or whether you can get a more accurate floor count, you can verify you don't have a watch problem by using the SimpleFloors app.
The App shows how your watch is affected by environmental issues such as, going room to room, upstairs/downstairs, inside to outside, changes in temperature, etc.
If the App produces reasonable results it is probably a fault in the firmware or it is simply necessary to restart the watch.
This App is meant for checking purposes only as it uses the battery a lot, but at least it will give you an idea if your watch is fine or if it is some other issue.
The latest version of SimpleClockPro clock face shows both Active Zone minutes and Active Minutes which will enable you to see if the heart inaccuracy during activity is playing a role.
