This started yesterday. For some reason every time my active minutes gets to around 44 it resets back to 2. Also, even though my steps are syncing with my app correctly, they are not syncing with my challenges. Example, right now my step total is 27,366 but my step total within the challenges is only 5,238. I have tried restarting the versa several times, but that didn't help. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you manually logging any activities or linking to an app that might sync data to your dashboard?
I ask as steps from these do not count towards challenges and there tends to be a reduction in active minutes when a manually logged (or synced) activity overwrites the data tracked by the fitbit.

I'm afraid that was the only thing I could think of. I hope someone else posts and solves the mystery for you.

Thamk you. It turns out that, after 3 days of trouble shooting, Fitbit customer service couldn't figure it out either. They are replacing it.

Just wanted to update what happened, after two replacements, and still having the same issue ( active minutes and calories running backwards) I decided to completely take the app off of my phone and put it on my tablet. It turns out the problem is somewhere between the Versa and the phone. It syncs just fine to my tablet, so for the time being I will just run the app from there. A little less convienant, but more reliable. I'm not sure if all Samsung J7s have the same problem, and I'm just not ready to spring for a new phone just yet.
