Active minutes not calculating correctly

My brand new Versa 2 (a replacement for my last one which recently bit the dust) is struggling a bit with Active Minutes. I've restarted the Fitbit, reset to factory settings, the whole nine yards...Chat Support asked me to mail it in but I literally just bought the thing so I'm trying everything possible first.

On Monday, I worked out for 45 minutes; spent 36 minutes in my peak/cardio and 10 minutes in my fat burn zone. However, my Fitbit app read 46 active minutes -- shouldn't this be more like 82 using Fitbit's zone calculations?

The same thing has happened during the past few workouts; I never had this problem on my last Versa 2 and would regularly average between 80-100 zone minutes for similar workouts. This seems more like a software/app issue and less like a hardware issue...

Hello @mlstauts and welcome to the Community.  The way I remember things, the Versa 2 gave active minutes when it was released.  Active zone minutes came with a firmware update.  I remember many users were not happy with this.  If your current Versa 2 is very new. then it has the original active minute programming.  You should get an update in 24-48 hours after adding it to your account to get zone minutes.  Just so you can check, the current Versa 2 firmware is 35.72.1.9.

I am moving your post to the Other Versa Smartwatch forum, a better fit.  You will eventually get your zone minutes, but the web dashboard can only show active minutes.
