Active minutes not working on Versa 2

I see on the formun that active minutes are not being recorded by many users.  Will Fitbit ever fix this issue?  I have a new versa 2 and it has worked a day or so every week.  I did a complete factory reset this morning requested per support and that did nothing.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone.  I love the versa except this one issue!  Everything else is working fine.  Any other suggestings?  Just venting.  Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is not recording your active minutes. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

In order to avoid providing the same information, please let me know how the factory reset was performed. Was it performed as below?

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
