I have been a Fitbit fan for the past two years. I had the Charge and Charge 2. For Christmas, I received the Versa. My watch is beautiful and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. To my dismay, my watch isn’t showing active minutes. I understand what active minutes are. I’m a runner so my lunchtimes during workdays are utilized for 5 and 6 miles. It looks like my heart rate display doesn’t work well either.
What do I do? I have never wanted an Apple Watch but I may have to go that route. Please provide a solution so that I may keep my beautiful watch.

@SunsetRunner If your HR readings are as low as 100 then you will not go over 3 METs and get active minutes. At this point, I would try toggling OFF/ON the heart rate monitor on your Versa (can be found in settings) with a reboot of the tracker in-between, and see if that helps. If it doesn't, I would perform a factory reset (restoring Versa to factory defaults). This will wipe your Versa, so please sync first. You will also need to delete your tracker from the Fitbit account (in the Fitbit mobile app) and your Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings. You can perform factory reset by going to Settings on your Versa, scrolling down to About and tapping Factory Reset. Once Versa resets to factory defaults, you will need to set it up again by adding it as a new device in the Fitbit mobile app. Hope it helps!
ETA: One more thing, perhaps try adjusting the band. Sometimes wearing it a bit higher or tighter resolves weird HR readings!

Hi, which Firmware version do you use, the latest one or the old one?

As the HR is patchy I would assume that is the problem. Are the green lights working? Have you tried restarting your Versa several times? If it is still not working correctly try a factory reset (settings app on the watch and scroll down to About). If it is still not working correctly then return it to the shop it was bought or contact support (link in my signature)

Hi, swipe up on your display and you will see the Today screen, which is updated in the newest version and it which you can choose to track seven activities. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen and the Today screen will show up, displaying of course as first your steps. Swipe form the left to the right in order to see the other stats, like active minutes nad they will be displayed.

@SunsetRunner Are the active minutes missing from the Dashboard at Fitbit.com as well? Can you please take some screenshots of heart rate recordings that can be found in your Fitbit mobile app? In the meantime, please go to Settings on your Versa, tap to open, and scroll down to Heart Rate. Toggle it Off, reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes, and once your Versa is back ON, go to Heart Rate seetings and toggle it back ON. Hope that helps.

@Marrrmaduke you are correct in asking if active minutes are showing on my Fitbit dashboard. They are not; nor are the active minutes showing on my Versa. I have rebooted my watch as well. Any suggestions? My heart rate shows on my watch but the readings I know are inaccurate. A five mile run yesterday when I know I’m typically in peak rates only showed up as 100. Usually I’m in the 160s.

@Marrrmaduke Crazy thing...!!! After four days my active minutes started showing today. Would you recommend still completing a factory reset?
Thank you for ALL of your help!
