Active time and activity not matching-Versa

Hi. So I just replaced my Alta with a Versa. The Alta always had my total active time lining up with my activities. For example, today I have a 17 minute walk and 11 minute walk, so the active time would have shown 28 minutes. This is not the case with the Versa. I show three different activities all over 10 minutes, but the active time only shows 11 minutes. Why is this not working?

I feel like since the alta doesn’t have a HRM and the Versa does, the Versa uses the heart rate to measure the intensity of your workout and calculate it as active minutes. The alta can only guess your heart rate.
