Activity and sleep aren't tracking

Earlier this week my activity and sleep logs aren't registering. Anyone else have this issue?

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Fitbit Versa is not registering your activity and sleep. Thank you for your efforts to resolve this issue. I would like to confirm if you see your data (steps and other stats) on your dashboard? If you haven't done so, I'd like you to restart your watch as described in this help article. This will refresh your device internally.

I have tried restarting my versa many time but it doesn't help.

I appreciate your troubleshooting efforts and would like to confirm if you see any of your activity data on the watch itself and on the app? Do you have any other trackers paired to your Fitbit account?

If you're not using your Flex 2 tracker, you can remove it from your Fitbit account by following these steps: How do I remove a Fitbit device from my account?

 

I recommend doing the following in order for your Fitbit Versa to register sleep:

1. Try sleeping with the watch on your non-dominant hand if you haven't been doing it already.
2. Confirm that the watch is snug on your wrist (the HR lights shouldn't be visible)

 

It is possible to manually log sleep to reflect the time slept. See instructions in this help article: How do I change my sleep history?

 

Please confirm what other activity stats beside your sleep stopped registering, I will be glad to investigate further.

My versa is not tracking sleep, steps or stairs properly.
