Why cant I add my bank of Scotland bank card to my Versa

So, far only a very small number of UK banks are available on fitbit pay. The current list is:

 

• boon. by Wirecard

• Danske Bank (Mastercard)

• Santander

• Starling Bank (Mastercard)

• Revolut (Mastercard)

• PFS (Mastercard)

 

Keep an eye on the following in the hope that others may be added at some point: https://www.fitbit.com/fitbit-pay/banks

Thank you but I feel this should be brought to uk users attention as I now have a gift which I cannot use for the purpose it was purchased for ????
